b'Thank you for a successful National Night Out!O n Tuesday Night, August 6th, the Police Department hosted our sixth National Night Out. National Night Out is a nationwide program that allows residents to get to know their neighbors and the Officers of their Police Department. It always occurs on the first Tuesday in August. This years event had our largest attendance ever, with approximately 200 people showing up to interact with their officers and greet their neighbors. We hope to have an even bigger turnout next year! This event was more than just a gathering-it was a platform for residents to ask questions, share concerns, and build a stronger bond with their local police. It also allowed our newer Officers to get to know the residents they serve even better. The Police Department provided pizza and water, and for the first time ever, we had no leftover pizza. This was a great family event which will hopefully continue to grow in coming years. We had several local nonprofit groups with booths to share information on what they do in the community.
